POLYPROPYLENE(PP) FILLER YARN
Longtai produces one of the best PP Fillers in China. We offer different grades of this yarn with the intent to meet the different demands of our customer's cables. Optionally we can also calibrate the softness of the yarn. Send us your sample and we will match our product to yours.
Polypropylene filler described in this standard is of non-hygroscopic and mainly used during the assembly of insulated cores to fill the space between them in order to make the assembled core if needed round shape.
All diameters quoted are nominal, approximate and intended as a guide. All our products expand and contract at different levels of tension. The diameters given above are un-tensioned diameters.
Standard Spool Sizes: 4.5 kg, 10 kg & 20 kg.
Spools are shrink wrapped for centre-pull cord discharge as standard or cord can be wound on 50mm tubes.
Denier
The thickness of the Polypropylene fibre (split-film tapes) making up the cord.
Metres Per Kg
The number of metres of cord per kilogram (+ or - 5%).
Standard Colours: White (natural), Black with UV Stabiliser additive, Blue, Red & Yellow.
